Counting Cards

Now, these aren’t explicitly “Spring” counting cards BUT they are so much fun to use any time of the year! For this version we used our favorite Starburst jelly beans! (Momma Tip – We always save this activity for the afternoon and generally only count 1-5 when using a candy manipulative.)

Peeps Subitizing

These cute little peeps are part of Michelle and my PreK/Kinder Math & Literacy Unit for April! We wanted to make sure y’all have a freebie to test out the unit first, and this activity is so much fun for practicing with your littles! Students match Peep number tops to subitizing bottoms. Then, record the numbers on their recording sheet!

Easter Egg Rhymes

If you’re new around here, you may not know that I’m a contributing writer for the blog The Letters of Literacy! Every month, we put out TONS of free resources to help you build your little ones’ literacy! My newest activity is this fun Easter Egg Rhyming!

To play, students take turns finding Easter eggs with matching long vowel words. Then, they record their pairs!
