Happy Fall, y’all! If you’re looking for some fun Math and Literacy activities, you won’t want to miss these 3 free Fall activities for Preschool children! These FREE Fall printables cover number identification, letter tracing, and extra fine motor skills practice. Whether you are working with children in the classroom or your own little ones at home, I hope that these activities are so helpful for you!

Number 6-10 Color by Code
Your little learners will love this free Fall color by code activity! To use, students choose a letter and it’s color crayon. Then, find and color all of the numbers their corresponding color. Once they’re finished, the Fall picture will be revealed!
These activities make great crafts to display (cut out the completed picture), and we love using them during our Morning Basket time to keep the little ones engaged at the table while we read our other subjects like history and Bible!
Letter Find and Trace
This free Fall activity is one of our favorite ways to practice identifying and tracing letters! To play, children choose a sunflower card from their sensory bin (or not if you’re not interested in using sensory bins!). Children identify the letter on the card they chose and trace it on the recording sheet. Keep going until all of the letters are traced!
Want to extend the use of this activity? Guide children in identifying the sound each letter says, or even help them put the letter cards in the correct alphabetical order! I love having activities that can be used in a handful of different ways!
Fall Pictures Matching
The last activity in our FREE Fall activities set is my favorite because it can be used to strengthen such a wide variety of skills! Picture matching mats are a great way to introduce your littlest learners and toddlers to sensory bins, they strengthen fine motor skills, and help children practice their visual discrimination skills.
This is another great activity to keep around for littles to use during Morning Basket time, while you’re working on homeschooling older siblings, or even just to engage your little ones while you sip a few cups of hot coffee!
