Color by Code 1-5 Printable
Color by code activities are so much fun, and this free Summer page is no exception! To use, children practice locating numbers 1-5 on their worksheet and color them by the provided code. I love watching my little one finally recognize what the mystery picture is as she works! Color by code printables are especially helpful activities for children who are focusing more on number identification rather than number formation. If writing and tracing numbers are still a little frustrating for your little learners, color by code sheets are a great way to keep them excited about their practice!
Tracing Letters A-K Printable
I love finding ways to take ordinary practice skills, like tracing, and turn them into a game! That’s exactly what “find and trace” activities do! Instead of handing your kiddo a simple tracing page, try out this free Summer activity the next time you need to practice handwriting and letter formation!
To use, children choose shell letter cards and identify the letters on them. Then they find the matching letters on the mat and trace them!
BONUS TIP: Laminate the tracing page for extra durability so you can use it over and over again, all Summer long!
Roll & Cover Colors
In case you missed it earlier – we REALLY loved turning practice into a game. Ha! Activities like “roll and cover” printables are one of the easiest ways to do this! All you have to do is print the game mat and the foldable dice, and you have yourself a fun game!
To use this activity, children roll the shark dice and identify the color they land on. Then using manipulatives from a Summer sensory bin, they cover the color shark that matches. Keep “playing” until all the sharks have been covered and watch how much fun your kiddos have while practicing important skills like color identification and fine motor skills!
