September Fine Motor Crafts
Fine motor skill activities are a great way to wake up little brains, or even replace morning cartoons if you’re looking to minimize screen time. I like to spend a minute before bed setting up a morning bin at our kitchen table. We enjoy our breakfast and basket time at the kitchen table, so having NO PREP fine motor activities that my kiddos can do independently really helps keep our basket time running smooth. Having those little hands engaged in a quiet activity allows me to get in lots of our read aloud time!
Our Fall themed fine motor worksheets set includes 25 NO PREP pages that are perfect for your September themes! Children will practice cutting, tracing, coloring, tearing, gluing, and SO much more. They’ll have so much fun making fun crafts to display, they won’t even realize how much important work they are accomplishing!
Weekly Themed Activities
Our bundle of September Preschool themes includes 4 FULL weeks of themed lessons. These week-long themes serve as the base of our homeschool Preschool curriculum as they each include 5 days of Math, Literacy and Fine Motor Skills printable activities. Read on to see which themes we like to include in our September theme plans!
Fall Animals Preschool Theme
I thought our September themes were complete until I saw these DARLING little critters. This set of Fall Woodland Animals caught my eye and I just KNEW they belonged in our Preschool curriculum! They are some of the sweetest little things, and make the perfect theme for those cozy Autumn Preschool days with your littlest learners! Children will love “feeding” the animals, learning their names, building them with play dough, you name it!
This theme covers skills like counting, colors, shapes, letters, beginning sounds, and SO much more! In total, children will practice with 15 Woodland Animals themed preschool centers.
Autumn Preschool Theme
September would not be complete without an Autumn theme! I don’t know about where you live, but where I am in North Texas we like to call September “Fake Fall”. We are SO ready to beat the heat, but have to pull out all the stops to make it feel like Fall here. And this fun Autumn theme is the perfect helper!
This theme covers skills like counting, colors, shapes, letters, beginning sounds, and SO much more! In total, children will practice with 15 Autumn themed preschool centers.
Farm Preschool Theme
Old MacDonald had a farm, and so does our September Preschool curriculum! I honestly think that a farm theme is super fun just about any time of the year. But there’s something about Fall that really makes the farm theme feel like it fits in just right! Children will love exploring with another set of adorable critters!
This theme covers skills like counting, colors, shapes, letters, beginning sounds, and SO much more! In total, children will practice with 15 farm themed preschool centers.
Vegetables Preschool Theme
Okay, no I know that this theme seems a little out of left field. But hear me out. Struggling to get your kids to eat veggies? Turn veggies into school activities. Looking for creative ways to explore unique sensory experiences? Turn veggies into a sensory bin. Ready to start learning about Fall harvest as we prepare for holidays like Thanksgiving soon? Bring veggies to life with fun, hands-on centers!
This theme covers skills like counting, colors, shapes, letters, beginning sounds, and SO much more! In total, children will practice with 15 vegetables themed preschool centers.
September Math & Literacy Worksheets
No theme is complete without some super helpful, NO PREP Math and Literacy worksheets! These 38 print-and-go pages are ink-saving, easy to use, and highly engaging! Children will practice TONS of Math and Literacy skills while tracing, coloring, cutting, pasting, and more!
I like to use these worksheets to review and assess skills we’ve been covering that month. But they also serve as great September Preschool Morning Work activities if you need a simple way to practice!
