Fall is the perfect time to bring apples into your Preschool learning! Whether you’re reading sweet stories about apple orchards, exploring hands-on apple activities, or adding a little extra fun to your homeschool routine, apples are a wonderful theme for curious little learners. In this post, I’ll be sharing some of our favorite apple books for Preschoolers along with engaging apple-themed activities that combine play and learning. The apple life cycle is a great Science addition to your apple activities! It’s also a great way to modify the apple plans for your older kiddos. LG loves learning about different life cycles with these studies!

The apple life cycle study includes tons of hands-on activities like sensory bins, STEM activities, sequencing cards and more! It also includes book recommendations, videos, real-life photos and practice pages!

One of my favorite things to do is share FREE resources with my pals in my e-mail community! In our centers for the Fall months you’ll find a fun upper and lowercase letter activity, a number order linking game, and a NO PREP color by code page for practicing numbers 6-10! You can grab these freebies using the button below!

Need a little NO PREP apple fun? You will love these no prep Fall fine motor skills pages! From apple dabbing to cut and match pages, choose from 25 worksheets that will get your little learners in the Fall spirit!

This little set of counting cards has been one of our absolute favorite Math resources for YEARS! For the image you see above, we used our apple mini erasers so that it would fit well with our apple theme. But y’all – these cards can be used all year long with ANY of your favorite Preschool themes!

We use these cards to practice counting and one-to-one correspondence. But they are also game-changers when practicing comparing numbers and even putting numbers in order! The dots on the cards give children a great visual of WHY the cards fit in the order they belong, as they can see how the amounts grow or decrease depending on how you’re ordering them.

If you’re looking for an engaging and hands-on way to get your Preschoolers started in the morning, you won’t want to miss these Fall themed Math and Literacy bins! Several of the September bins include apple activities, making this the perfect addition to your apple theme! Whether you’re in the classroom or homeschooling, giving your children a low-pressure way to start their academic practice for the day will be a game-changer for your learning time!

Of course no theme is complete without sensory bins! We love sensory bins so much this time of year, including for our apple theme, that I have an entire blog post dedicated to our favorite Fall sensory bin filers and activities. These bins make the perfect base for your apple activities, so click below to read all about them!
