August Themes
August brings all the Back to School happy feels, making it one of my very favorite month for Preschool themes! This month is all about Back to School and “all about me”, followed by one of my favorite Fall themes – football! (Hookem!) We finish up the month with our apple theme as a nice transition into September.

September Themes
September is one of my absolute favorite months of the year! My birthday is in the middle of the month, and from there it’s on to alllll of my favorite holidays. So of course I included some of my very favorite Preschool themes in my very favorite month!

October Themes
October is such a festive month! It’s all about candy and (kinda) spooky critters, but we also like to include the very important topic of fire safety to help us celebrate Fire Safety month! Several of our October themes (spiders and monsters) are great to enjoy any time of year, making them super flexible!

November Themes
Starting in November, we begin slowing school things down for the end of the semester. We want to make sure we take plenty of time off during the holidays for family time, so in November we just use 3 themes. These themes definitely get us in the Fall holiday spirit!

December Themes
Is there anything more festive than Christmas themed fun?! We definitely focus on family time during December, but it’s hard to say “no” to counting gum drops or making BINGO dabber wreaths to help celebrate the Christmas season! P.S. Many of these activities (especially the gingerbread ones) are perfect for your kiddos to work on at the kitchen table while you’re tending to Christmas baking!

January Themes
The last of our “shorter” school months is January. I love taking the first week of January off of school to relax after all the Christmas festivities and enjoy all of our new toys! But once we’re ready to dive back into school time, these Wintery themes are such a fun way to get back into the swing of things!

July Themes
July is usually our busiest Summer month with camps and other activities, so aside from our July 4th theme I like to focus on “evergreen” Preschool themes. “Evergreen” themes are also known as “anytime” themes, so if we have a busy week it’s no problem to skip a theme or even move it to another month during the school year!
