Happy Fall, my friends! One of my favorite themes to cover in our Fall theme lineup is Farm! During this season, our family loves visiting festive events at our local Farmer’s Market, pumpkin patches, and a local farm that puts on some of the best festivals. So it comes as no surprise that we love including a farm theme in our homeschool Preschool. Today, I’m happy to share some of our favorite farm books and activities to use with your little learners!

Farm Preschool Centers
In our homeschool Preschool learning time, we LOVE to include weekly themes for our Math and Literacy practice. This week full of farm activities is one of our favorite weeks of the school year! Included you’ll find 15 Math, Literacy, and fine motor skills centers that cover important skills like counting, colors, shapes, letters, and MORE!

Apple Life Cycle
The apple life cycle is a great Science addition to your farm theme! It’s also a great way to modify the farm plans for your older kiddos. LG loves learning about different life cycles with these studies!
This study includes tons of hands-on activities like sensory bins, STEM activities, sequencing cards and more! It also includes book recommendations, videos, real-life photos and practice pages!
Vegetable Preschool Centers
Another beloved Preschool themes that we love to include when we reach our Farm theme is our vegetables theme! Not only is it a fitting theme to follow your Farm theme, it’s also a great one to combine with it! Sometimes I prep all of these activities together and take several weeks to explore them all!
Fall Preschool FREEBIES
If you want to get a feel for our Preschool centers without diving in to an entire weekly theme, you won’t want to miss our FREE Fall Preschool printables! This set of freebies includes 3 activities that are perfect to add to your Fall themes!

Farm Sensory Bins
Sensory bins are such a fun way to add fine motor skills practice to your thematic unit! We also toss in lots of our smaller Math and Literacy pieces to jazz up our homeschool routine!
To put together this Farm themed sensory bin, fill a bin with dry black or brown beans. Then add farm stickers or toys (be sure to check out Dollar Tree!) and lots of themed mini erasers or pom-poms that match your unit!
Once you have your sensory bin assembled, the possibilities are endless! Sort the farm animal toys, use the beans or mini erasers to count and build letters, you name it!
Little Boy Blue
Nursery rhyme activities are SO amazing for our little learners! And as luck would have it, there are tons of nursery rhymes that fit into a Farm theme! These nursery rhyme fine motor activities are packed with sensory bins, PlayDoh cards, cutting practice, and more!
Let’s hang out!
I hope these ideas for farm books and activities will add so much fun to your Fall learning time this year. Let me know! I’d love to chat and get to know you better! Come hang out with us in some of our favorite places!
