Subitizing Color by Code Worksheet
If you have littles who love to color, you’ll definitely need to grab this free turkey color by the code worksheet! To complete, students color the number representations on the worksheet by the code to reveal a fun turkey image! What a fun way to practice 10 Frames and reading dice!
These activities make great crafts to display (cut out the completed picture), and we love using them during our Morning Basket time to keep the little ones engaged at the table while we read our other subjects like history and Bible!
Shapes Roll and Play Game
Your little learners will love this free turkey shapes game! To play, students roll the included foldable dice and identify the shape they rolled. Then, they find and cover a shape that matches on the game board. Keep rolling until you make it all the way around!
Another way to use this game is to grab a traditional dice, have children roll and move to that many spaces, then identify the name of the shape they landed on! This switches up the activity from a matching activity to an identification activity. And we love being able to extend the use of our board games!
Scissors Practice
These free turkey cutting strips help littles practice their fine motor and cutting skills using these printable cutting strips! We love having cutting strips available during our morning basket time as a quiet activity. Sometimes I even print multiple copies so that my little one has lots of extra cutting practice!
Want to make them last even longer? Print out 2 copies and laminate one to trace with dry erase markers! Students will love getting to use these strips for practicing multiple skills!
